Happy Holidays everyone. Besides the usual appreciation for all of you who serve as EC, AEC and DEC I’d like to take an opportunity to note those who have taken on new EPA ARES roles in 2025. Disclaimer – My records are imperfect. If you are new to EC or AEC and I miss mentioning you here, please forgive my imperfect record keeping. And, on the other hand, some of these roles are not exactly new but I’ve only learned about them in 2025. Corrections are appreciated. We had a lot of turnover in 2025, happily most people accepting roles rather than leaving.

In Bucks county, EC Mike Sabal KB3GJT gained three AECs. They are Karl Harris K3KH, Mark Hinkel, WA3QVU and Ron Wenig N73J.

In Delaware county, EC Chris Kelleher W3CTK added three AECs to the roster. They are Tammi Maciolek KC3MTT, Tom Barrett KC3KIB and David Horvath KB3RIJ.

Bob Griffiths NE3I added Montgomery Co AEC to his other EPA volunteer role(s).

In Monroe county, Nick Puccio W3NJP assumed the EC role and added Len Lavenda KC3OND as AEC.

Ron Zukoksy N3VTH accepted the AEC role in Susquehanna County where DEC John Mcewing KC1FWU is also serving as EC.

In Cumberland county, Paul Harig W3PTH is EC with Jeff Kisner W3JWK as AEC.

Ray Hershey W3RSH accepted AEC in Lancaster county.

In York county Mike Wicker W3ICK is AEC (one of his duties is to submit the monthly form 2) and Bill Rosevear KC3GTX accepted the AEC role.

Ed Sabo WE3U joined Columbia county as AEC.

In Bradford county, EC Meade Murtland KA3EQU added three AECs, Dennis Voorhees AD3O, Steven Rodinak KC3DOW and Mark Erway N2RZZ.

Looking to 2026, in Sullivan county Danny Colegrove N3DO is working to establish an ARES team.

I appreciate all the ARES volunteers, leaders, assistants and members. We’ve had great participation this year and are planning on more of the same for 2026.

Please forward any corrections to me so I can keep my roster up to date.

Thanks and 73 W2AFE
