Good afternoon,

PEMA Auxiliary Communications (ACS) will be supporting the Limerick Generating Station Biennial Radiological Emergency Preparedness Exercise scheduled for tomorrow, November 18, 2025, from 16:00–21:00 Eastern Time.

Amateur radio operators within 75 miles of the Limerick Steam Station are requested to provide the following situational data to support statewide awareness:

  • ZIP Code

  • County (optional but helpful)

  • Current Weather Conditions

  • Wind Speed

  • Communication Capabilities Available
    (Examples: VHF/UHF voice, HF voice/digital, Winlink, packet, mobile/portable, power sources, etc.)

Preferred reporting method: Winlink message addressed to KB3NIA.
Operators may submit an initial report at 16:00 and additional reports if conditions change.

If another station is attempting to contact KB3NIA but cannot get through, please collect their report and relay it via Winlink if available, or by voice if no other means are possible.

  • 7.2505 MHz LSB – Primary Daytime

  • 3.9935 MHz LSB – Primary Nighttime

Eastern Area Net:

  • 7.2275 MHz LSB – Primary Daytime

  • 3.9875 MHz LSB – Primary Nighttime

PEMA HQ will also monitor:

  • Harrisburg Repeater

  • Winlink traffic to KB3NIA
